During this pandemic we tried to envision ‘connection’ between two humans both at a physical and at a spiritual level. This project was suppose to be in two parts - the first where we show the physical connection which is triggered by touch and in the second part we show the spiritual connection which is much more deeper and doesn’t need a physical touch to trigger. Because of the time limitations and covid restrictions we were never able to finish the second part of the project and so decided on releasing the first part only. These are some of the photographs taken while shooting the project.

Richa & Shashank

When we met Richa and Shashank about a month before their wedding, she was nervous and anxious, while he was cool as a cucumber. They went on to tell us how their wedding is a small family affair, how important it is to capture their nearest and dearest ones. And we fell in love with them right then. In a world where weddings revolve around the bride and groom, here come a couple who are so strongly rooted in family values, that their priority was to capture the coming together of 2 families.

In the beautiful Madikeri, with rolling hills, cool winds, and coffee all round, Richa and Shashank’s festivities began. And just as anticipated, it was beautiful, warm, and intimate- just like Richa and Shashank themselves.

We spent last new year eve in the company of Architects, Designers and Photographers celebrating a very intimate wedding at a house built on a remote hill in Kerala ( also the most beautiful house we have ever seen ). Its extremely rare that we go to a sangeet ceremony and we feel overdressed but yes that happened, we shud have known that shorts and tshirt is the default dress code of a gathering of artists. Kayaking, beer, more beer , a lot of beer, paddle boats, shorts, beards, long hair - this wedding had it all - for a wedding photographer there cant be a better way to welcome new year than this.

Katie and Ajay exchanged their vows after almost a decade of dating and what better place to do it than at the absolutely beautiful Los Cabos. Rustic landscapes adorned with symbolic cactii, pristine beaches of the luxurious Esperanza resort and a crowd of only 50 guests makes this intimate affair a dream wedding for any photographer.

This Punjabi + Kerala concoction of a wedding was nothing but a blur of back to back offbeat celebrations. A viciously-in-love couple , an extraordinary venue with horses, peacocks, and palm trees and a vintage Chevy Truck - we couldn’t ask for more. Click on the music bar before scrolling down.

Karishma x Raj

Can’t say what was the highlight of this wedding : A beautiful chateau in the middle of a landscape that can well be a wallpaper, the 2 century old airbnb where we stayed, the 9 hour long road trip we took from Paris to reach this remote village , the fact that everyone cooked together and ate together and we got to have authentic Indian food every day, or the couple Karisma and Raj who were a blast to shoot with. Guess its was a mix of everything.

The Apartment Wedding

This wedding combined so many disparate things into one cohesive blend of awesomeness. Vijay and Pearl seamlessly brought together their Indian and Chinese cultures into one very intimate celebration of their love - all within a three bedroom apartment in Bangalore. This was such a relaxed wedding that we got time shoot a small video too without us knowing how to shoot video or them knowing that we are shooting a video too.

Amelia and Jaser's Off-Beat Mysore Wedding

This was one wedding we had been waiting to photograph for almost an year . Having shot Amelia and Jaser in Goa for their engagement session last year, we knew their wedding will be nothing short of an adventure. And it was much more than that.

Ahone and Ibrahim's Desert Elopement

One thing common to all wedding ceremonies irrespective of the tradition, culture or ethnicity is that they all end with the bride and groom taking an oath to protect and trust each other for the rest of their lives. Everything else other than this exchange of vows is either a celebration or a way to make this union look acceptable or valid.

Ahone approached us few weeks back and told the idea of exchanging her vows somewhere in the middle of Thar desert , and being Indian wedding photographers who are used to 4-5 hours of wedding ceremony and hundreds of guests , it felt unreal.

Though the whole session lasted for less than 40 minutes and we so wanted this to last for atleast a couple more hours, it still was the most beautiful wedding we have ever seen . No guests, no processes , no decorations, just two people in love assuring their faith and commitment to each other. We don't think a wedding can be more pure than this.
